Statement of Faith

Core Beliefs

  1. The Bible: The Church believes that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible written Word of God. It serves as the ultimate authority in all matters of faith and practice.

  2. The Nature of God: There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

  3. Salvation: The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Regeneration by the Holy Ghost is essential for personal salvation.

  4. The Work of Christ: The redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in response to believing prayer. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, died for our sins, and is now our mediator.

  5. The Holy Spirit: The baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. The sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit enables Christians to live a holy and separated life in the present world.

  6. The Rapture: The Church believes in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God in Christ at the return of Jesus.

  7. Living a Holy Life: The indwelling of the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live a life that is pleasing to God, characterized by holiness and separation from sin.
